Pure Analysis Program

   Protecting Public Health

  • Rapid Food Safety and Surface Tests

  • Optimize Sterilization Procedures

  • Monitor Surface, Equipment, and Hand Cleanliness

Providing a sanitary, germ-free environment, and protecting public health is a vital concern for medical and food service  institutions.

Contaminated medical equipment, surfaces, ice machines, and food processing areas,  are risks associated with infectious diseases and foodborne illnesses. Overlooking the importance of monitoring these areas can be costly and ruin a reputation.

To diminish the possibility of these risks, the Pure Analysis Program offers cost effective, rapid ATP testing and diagnostic programs.

What is ATP?

ATP, or adenosine triphosphate, is the universal energy molecule found in all animal, plant, bacteria, yeast, and mold cells. Product residue, particularly food residue, contains large amounts of ATP. Microbial contamination also contains ATP, but in smaller amounts. After cleaning, all sources of ATP should be significantly reduced or eliminated, ensuring a sanitary environment.

At risk groups for infectious disease and foodborne illness:

-The Young and Elderly

-Pregnant Women

-The Immunocompromised

-Burn Patients

The Pure Analysis Program conducts bioluminescence testing and monitoring services to ensure that proper sanitation protocols are being followed. Immediate tests are performed using a handheld system SURE II™ luminometer and Ultrasnap™ swabs. ATP levels are detected within fifteen seconds.

Ice Contamination

Ice is defined as food under the Food Safety Act 1990 and must be made, stored, and handled so that it is not contaminated.

Ice machines are prime areas for contamination. ATP testing provides verification that these machines are clean and pristine.
